At our East Nashville restaurant, we blend a chill vibe with an open dining space, friendly hospitality, and a place where everyone shares a passion for local, seasonal ingredients. If you’re new here, let’s give you a rundown of what to expect when you first enter Smith & Lentz in Nashville.

Everyone Is Welcome

Your table is ready! It’s the high top with the view of our East Nashville neighborhood through the front window. Ahead of you is a sleek and stacked bar, flanked by a window that offers a glimpse into our brewing area. At the other end of the space is our open kitchen, where a distinct sourdough aroma signals delicious artisanal pizza, crisping up to just the right char.

Just beyond the kitchen is our outdoor beer garden and patio. When the weather warms up, this is a great place to hang out, enjoy some pizza and beer, and share good times with friends. On sunny days that aren’t too hot for the pups, you can bring your best canine buddy with you. We supply bowls of fresh water, and the shade under the tables makes for a nice nap on the patio. Maybe bring them a blanket to lie on.

You’ll find some terrifically creative pairings and combos on top of the homemade pizza crust. That’s because our ever-changing menu is inspired by what’s delivered from the farms down the road.

The best way to tackle this is to begin with our fresh sourdough garlic bread, warm marinated olives, and a Farm Kale Salad. Next, turn to the goat cheese with jam and olive oil, or our Farm Radicchio Salad with lemon dressing, blood orange, pine nuts, and fancy cheddar. Proceed with your current cravings, and the rest will play out without missing a beat. There really aren’t any wrong decisions.
